The Yuba-Sutter region has access to many transportation corridors. It is served by state highways 70, 65, 20 and U.S. Highway 99 and is just north of the intersection of two major interstates, I-5 and I-80.

The Yuba-Sutter area is also only 35 miles from the Sacramento International Airport, which provides general passenger and freight traffic.  In addition, Yuba County Airport has runways large enough to accommodate jet air carriers, freight carriers, general aviation, business jets and private aircraft while Sutter County Airport accommodates smaller aircraft such as crop dusters and private single-engine aircraft.

Lastly, Union Pacific connects the Yuba-Sutter area to the nation's railway system. The rail system is used primarily to transport agricultural goods and other goods produced in the region.  Amtrak serves passenger travel needs.
